Historic Blackwood town once again opens its welcoming arms and eucalyptus-covered hills to us few lucky folk and our families.
The Blackwood Festival is our little yearly weekend of merry music and country culture at the foot of the Lederberg State Park. We’re a summer musical haven, flooding the mountain forest with the echoes of Irish, Bluegrass, Country, Blues, Folk and Rockabilly as well as stomping feet, clapping hands and the sound of people generally enjoying paradise.
Blackwood Festival is also a celebration of workshops, dance, demonstrations, craft stalls and fine food fare. It’s all the good stuff we like to share with our friends.
